ABOUT ME

Meet the Owner

Daniel Ryder, smiling lovingly straight. at. you.

My name's Daniel. I'm a passionate gamer, active DM, dedicated rock climber, and lover of all things motorcycle.

My goal is to help you get your project right where you want it. I bring a wealth of knowledge, from my audio engineering skills, my time as a voice actor, my classical operatic voice training, and my time on the

theatrical stage both behind and in front of the scenes; my skills are at your disposal.

If you're not sure what you're looking for, request a Demo read for your project! We'll put together a sample with multiple actors to make sure you know what you're in for.

My Studio

When you're looking for the perfect voice, it's always smart to be concerned about the space your voiceover artist records out of.

The Daniel Ryder Voices studio, a small 4x4 room with sound treatment to ensure quality audio

that the sound is crisp and that there are no fans within spitting distance of the mic. Nothing ruins audio like some good ol' fashioned fan-noise.

An audio engineer helped me to design an isolation booth that fit the needs of my customers. That way, any errant noise stays exactly where we all want it. Out the dang booth.

The acoustically treated booth ensures

Adam Audio T5V Studio Monitors
V-Moda Crossfade 2 Headphones
Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface

Microphone: Rode NT1

The sound of this broadcast-quality microphone really makes my voice shine. I keep the NT1 on a boom arm so that I can stand up during recording, because, well, great posture is essential for a great read.

Audio Interface: Scarlett 2i2

It's important to keep it simple, and Scarlett makes a great product. The preamps are clean, and I do all my audio processing in my Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) so as not to tamper with the incoming audio.

DAW: Reaper

I like to call it the Linux of Audio Workstations. It'll do anything the other guys are doing, but you have to know how to speak its language.

Headphones: V-Moda Crossfade 2

I'm a bit of an audiophile, and I just love the sound of these beautiful beasts. They ensure I hear everything on the track so I can clean up that audio just right.

Monitors: Adam Audio T5V

There's something about those ribbon tweeters. I could listen to them all day without getting tired. These monitors are optimized for small studios like mine, so I can replicate the feel of a bigger control room in my tiny space.
